We have recently launched an upgrade of the Zupplychain Warehouse Storage Enquiries process. This new version has improved functionality resulting from feedback from our customers and warehouse providers.
The enquiry process enables a Zupplychain customer to discuss and agree a pallet storage requirement with a warehouse provider through Zupplychain’s messaging service without the need for manual emails or phone calls. For a customer, this means all its enquiries and warehouse responses are in one place and in one format. When an agreement is reached, Zupplychain automatically generates a contract confirmation to both the customer and the warehouse provider and sets up the two parties on the Stock Database.
The Stock Database is a proprietary warehouse management system which allows customers to give each pallet a unique reference number, making it simple to request the outbound movement of specific pallets.
The most recent developments to the enquiry process are:
- Customers can now request pricing for specific logistics services such as inbound and outbound distribution, order fulfilment and container de-stuffing by simply ticking the relevant boxes on the enquiry and adding text comments where applicable.
- Warehouse providers can respond to these requests by providing comments and uploading files for pricing, etc.
- The messaging system has been enhanced both in terms of presentation and functionality.
- In ‘Advanced Pricing View’, we have added the opportunity to specify recurrent in and out pallet movements, allowing a customer to fine-tune the expected cost of the pallet storage and warehouse providers to better understand customers’ on-going requirements.
We continue to develop further features for the Warehouse Storage Enquiry Process. In the meantime, we welcome your feedback on 0161 705 4326 or email@example.com
